This role as an eCommerce Marketing Manager you will be challenged to accelerate sales & share of Nestle Purina Petcare brands by driving organizational understanding and adoption of eBusiness fundamentals and execution of eMarketing best practices. Defining & deploying best in class ways of working and planning and executing eRetailer digital campaigns will be the core of your responsibilities.   • Serve as strategic partner to educate Branded Marketing on the fundamentals of winning with pure players & store-based retailers via ongoing engagements (this includes formal trainings, Quarterly Business Reviews, participation in brand planning & informal meetings/share sessions); Credibly participate in conversations about driving results across the entire eBusiness value chain, including designing a sustainable business model and product portfolio, customer needs/requirements, fulfillment models, & eRetailer discoverability and conversion tactics including media/content

  • Increase adoption of fundamentals by integrating eCommerce activities into existing organizational ways of working, which includes mapping end-to-end eCommerce activities and collaborating with other functions and teams to refine processes, clarify roles/responsibilities, & effectively incorporate eComm needs further upstream

  • Define, document & deploy training materials & playbooks to drive adoption of best practices related to assigned eMarketing functional area Execute key programs/activities as defined in functional area

  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal stakeholders to create, track & optimize KPIs/Performance Analytics for assigned functional area (i.e. Media ROAS, , eRetailer Share of Shelf, etc)

  • Identify what's next and who's who within the eCommerce landscape; activate relevant test and learns as defined

Perform all other duties as assigned



Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University; Master's Degree preferred

Experience (Years/Type):

  • 5+ years of marketing experience (Branded Marketing, Shopper Marketing or eBusiness).
  • 2+ years experience with driving organizational change and process improvements, evaluating problem areas, and executing digital marketing initiatives.

VIEW JOBS 10/18/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-16T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY: The eCommerce Specialist will work in tandem with the Minister of Information (CTO) and the E-Commerce Director to coordinate and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that include both digital marketing and more traditional components such as catalog, radio, and print advertising for one of The Republic of Tea's brands. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Coordinate digital marketing strategies across all direct and digital media channels from concept to launch * Assist the Minister of Information (and interfacing with our vendors where applicable) in managing all aspects of digital marketing including SEO/SEM, Affiliate, Remarketing, New Customer Acquisition, Marketplaces including Amazon, Email Marketing, and other future channels * Develop digital marketing programs to support awareness, customer acquisition, customer retention and development, digital advertising, email marketing, social media and mobile marketing, etc. * Develop website testing roadmap to include a variety of test designs with clear and measurable business objectives * Manage and track digital marketing budget aligned with overall business objectives and provide necessary reporting * Provide analytics on effectiveness of all digital and traditional marketing channels * Maintain website optimizations and other forms of a/b and multivariate tests associated with digital marketing focused on improving click through and conversion rates POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree * 1-2 years' experience in either Email Marketing, AdWords, or Amazon Marketing * General understanding of common E-Commerce; KPIs, target setting and external benchmarks * Excellent organization and strong relationship skills * Ability to prioritize and multi-task with a strong attention to detail and process * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong business, data analysis and interpretation skills * Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word * The following skills will be considered a plus: * Copywriting, Analytics, SEO, Content Management Systems, Amazon (as a marketing channel) COMPETENCIES: * Results-driven attitude; a self-starter who thinks and participates effectively, both independently and as part of a team * Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate her/his views crisply and convincingly * Takes action: proactive and resourceful in solving problems, making decisions and executing on goals This position will be located in St Louis with regular visits to our HQ in Nashville, IL (~50 miles away from St Louis) and some travel to our other office locations: Novato, CA and Boston, MA.
