The Manager, eCommerce- Americas plays a key role in driving eCommerce capabilities at strategic accounts. Additionally, this role develops best practice playbooks and eCommerce trainings for omnichannel retailer account teams to drive eCommerce strategies by designing, deploying and optimizing tactics to accelerate eCommerce sales and develop organizational eCommerce capability.
Develop training materials and playbooks to help omnichannel accounts in the US navigate eCommerce, hit KPIs, and develop a strong eCommerce voice as they begin their eCommerce journey
Work with Amazon category NAMs, Walmart NAM, eCommerce team, media lead, and eCommerce analytics to synthesize best practices across categories and accounts
Aggregate best practices and learnings from assigned strategic accounts to update standard tools and templates for all other accounts (e.g., standard content, Energizer Requirements to Win toolkit)
Take company insights and learnings and translate them to best practices for online tactics (e.g., in-site SEO, eSBS)
Define, document and deploy training materials and playbook to drive adoption of best practices for ecommerce acceleration.
Increase adoption of fundamentals by integrating eCommerce activities into existing Energizer organizational ways of working.
Drive Omnichannel eCommerce business objectives across strategic accounts
Work with Senior Manager to identify what's next and who's who within the omnichannel eCommerce landscape in the Americas; activate relevant test and learns as defined.
Build a partnership with the buyer and other strategic touchpoints at the retailer and attend key meetings as a dedicated eCommerce expert across strategic accounts.
Devise customer-specific eCommerce business plans, strategies, and goals, identifying win-win opportunities based on an understanding of the customer's eCommerce objectives
Build account team alignment and buy-in for trade funding support to execute tactics against plan
Deploy best practices (e.g., in-site SEO, eSBS) and test & learns for online ; optimize performance based on data in partnership with eCommerce Analytics team
Collaborate with Shopper / Brand Activation team to align online and in-store promotion activity
Collaborate with Account Team to track eCommerce P&L and progress toward KPIs
Drive eCommerce capabilities within account by identifying, recommending and implementing solutions to accelerate ecommerce sales.
Serve as a strategic partner to educate Account teams on the fundamentals of winning in eCommerce and be seen as an eCommerce expert by Account team and their retailers.
Management and Reporting on Ratings & Reviews
Define sampling needs for Ratings and Reviews generation and collaborate with Marketing on securing samples.
Drive Ratings and Review generation for Energizer
Collaborate cross functionally on Ratings and Reviews management
Oversee 3rd party agency
Collaborate with Content Specialist to syndicate essential and enhanced content to assigned strategic retailers
Identify and outline content needs to eCommerce Content Specialist
May perform other duties as assigned
Report out to account team on digital tactics that do / don't drive eCommerce acceleration and next steps for accounts to continue pushing forward post-sprint completion
Provide feedback to COE on tactic success and test & learn performance
Deliver biannual market and customer eCommerce prioritization update / tiering proposal
Ratings and Review management for U.S.
Assist Senior Manager with ecommerce strategy implementation at strategic accounts
Required Skills and Experience
4 year Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years related work experience
Retailer.com marketing or digital merchandising experience
Ability to understand P&Ls / business levers, manage trade funds and drive toward KPIs
Ability to influence change without direct ownership
Ability to make fast decisions and operate in a test and learn environment
Positive attitude and ability to exert influence / drive change
Ability to take initiative and self-direct
Ability to travel 20% of the time to customer sites
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience analyzing & managing eCommerce platforms/ businesses
Organic, Paid Search optimization
OneClick, Clavis application understanding
Working Relationships & Environment
Reports to the Senior Manager, eCommerce
Closely collaborates with Media lead, content and syndication lead, account managers and shopper marketers
