Opportunity: eCommerce & CRM Marketing Manager

HHM is looking for a self-starting individual who has an entrepreneurial spirit with expertise in digital marketing and CRM systems management including search engine optimization, search engine marketing, email marketing, pay per click advertising, eCommerce distribution channels, local marketing, social media and mobile eCommerce and marketing. The eCommerce & CRM Marketing Manager is responsible for the day to day, hands-on management and execution of eCommerce and CRM marketing tactics, strategies, and promotions. This position reports to the Vice President of eCommerce with a dotted line to the Director of CRM and Senior eCommerce Manager. Primary object of this position to generate revenue and incremental revenue through eCommerce and email marketing tactics and strategy.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and drive digital marketing strategies including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social presence (social reputation and social media)

  • Mange Gift Card program including software, deployment, measurement, analysis and monthly reporting

  • Assist/Oversee/Manage hotel listings and content on online travel agency websites in partnership with the Revenue Management Department

  • Digital asset (photography, 3D tours and video) management

  • Oversee/Manage social media services and engagement including content, blog, marketing, advertising and performance measurement

  • Direct, support, deploy, and measure monthly email marketing deployments

  • Facilitate and align all hotel branding with current branding guidelines and initiatives

  • Support Sales and Revenue Department regarding promotional and tactical marketing, e-Tools, and electronic media

  • Active involvement in ongoing and annual electronic distribution strategy and planning to maximize online revenue and profitability

  • Supports email marketing strategy and calendar for B2C and B2B audiences within the Independent Collection Hotels and Resorts

  • Support customer facing digital ecommunications including transactional (confirmation, cancellation, modification, pre-arrival and post-trip, esurvey), promotional, editorial/newsletter and triggered emails.

  • Codes and implements email templates within email marketing platform

  • Plans, configures and monitors automated email campaigns within email marketing platform

  • Build audiences within customer database with smart segmentation that align with overall strategy

  • Ensures message consistency and alignment across non-HHM managed email solutions for soft-branded hotels

  • Serves as email software subject matter expert

  • Assists Digital and eCommerce Team in special projects and other assignments as needed

  • Assists with consumer insights analysis and reporting.

  • Administrative Responsibilities include:

  • CRM software contracting and implementation

  • Database management (reporting, health, compliance)

  • Image and digital asset organization and distribution

  • Scheduled and adhoc reporting and analysis

  • Shared drive organization and file management

  • Invoice processing

  • Proofreading and editing of internal and external materials

  • contracting and content management

  • HHM Hospitality content management

Successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Associate's Degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, hospitality or related field

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting

  • 2+ years of experience in an email marketing role (preferably within hospitality)

  • Hospitality Enterprise level CRM Software Experience
  • Experience with IHG, Marriott, Hyatt and/or Hilton marketing programs and systems a plus

  • Superb organizational and prioritization skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Unparalleled attention to detail; proofreading and editing skills required

  • Analytical mindset; ability to draw insights and make recommendations based on semi-complex datasets

  • Content management and web analytics experience

  • Knowledge of website production with a firm grasp of website fundamentals

  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Intermediate level of technical acumen with digital technologies

  • Basic working knowledge of HTML and Photoshop

  • Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally with a myriad of teams and stakeholders from C-level to property level

  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel

  • Diligent work habits and ability to meet deadlines
