Ecommerce Assistant - HSN

The Opportunity

Reporting to the eCommerce Sr. Manager, the eCommerce Assistant is responsible for overseeing the product flow for assigned brands, categories, and events. This includes the categorization, attribution and visual merchandising for all site merchandise. Partnering with team leads, the eCommerce Assistant will work off of prioritized task lists to ensure the needs of both scripted and unscripted merchandise is properly represented across all digital platforms. The eCommerce Assistant is responsible for internal communication with Merchandising, Creative, Legal, and external communication with vendors and guests to seamlessly execute the product and platform strategy.

Your Impact

• Support the category management team to maximize brand and category sales to achieve the sales plan.

• Visual Merchandise product grids with supporting tools and validating proper displays within key web stores.

• Validate product page integrity (images, videos, swatches, etc.) and links. Work with Imaging, Merchandising, Legal, or PI for necessary updates.

• Assign related items and cross-sells; curate and fill web stores to support marketing priorities

• Process videos into the DMS tool and ensure they are properly loaded to the product detail page and/or HSN Now.

• Pull weekly programming calendars.

• Assist in facilitating samples and product availability between Merchandising, Vendors, and Imaging as needed.

• Partner with eCommerce team to strategize driving items, brands, categories and events to meet sales goals.

• Reviews sales and participates in generating recaps to determine if changes are necessary; refreshing pages as needed.

• Identify new and innovative selling methods

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in merchandising/marketing/online sales or equivalent business experience.
• 1-3 years experience in an eCommerce environment, or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
