The eComm Facilities Warehouse Manager will manage the day-to-day functionality of a specific area/department within the fulfillment operation. This individual will ensure timely completion of the workload in an efficient and safe manner, in compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines, while demonstrating a commitment to teamwork, associate growth and development, and continuous improvement processes and performance. This role will assist the Operations Manager in calculating the labor and supply needs to meet the demands of the current and future business needs.

This opening is currently slated for 1st shift and workdays are Sunday through Wednesday but must be available to work extended hours and various shifts during out Peak period to include certain holidays.

ABOUT US (responsibilities)

  • Conducts or facilitates required and recommended monthly safety training sessions

  • Ensures janitorial staff completes all assigned tasks and required paperwork completed for each area

  • Analyze workload and adjust staff accordingly to accomplish departmental/building goals

  • Ensure associate safety through education and training, promoting safety awareness and accountability, and by promptly addressing potential hazards

  • Reviews all equipment used and the workspace in their department to make sure it's being kept in clean neat proper working order

  • Observes that all PPE and other safety equipment are used properly and is in good working order

  • Sets the agenda for daily huddles and weekly meetings, communicates goals, objectives, and company directives to associates in a clear, concise, understandable manner

  • Inside average office environment 10% of the time, inside warehouse environment 90% of the time

ABOUT YOU (required skills)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment

  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction, and facilities/maintenance

  • Knowledgeable of a direct-to-consumer fulfillment operation

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

The successful candidate will have a data and analytics background with project management experience delivering successful strategic, tactical, cross-functional and network wide programs that drive tangible operation improvements. The role requires leading and participating in a wide variety of improvement programs across people, process & technology initiatives across our e-commerce distribution network. The scope includes building key data and analytics capabilities at the site level and across our network. Activities include project planning, innovating new capabilities, associate and manager training and the coordination of multiple programs across our network simultaneously. Active cross-team communication, project management, building advanced data and analytics tools, knowledge of IT operating systems and executive presentation skills are essential. ABOUT US (responsibilities): * Define new analytical capabilities for our e-commerce sites and network wide, successfully delivering difficult projects and achieving goals across multiple distribution sites. * Align closely with the GM at each site to build a data driven culture and drive priority programs supporting our 3 Year Strategic Plan. * Work directly with external providers, internal customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions. * Partner with Distribution Center General Managers and Operations leaders to build network wide solutions, set project priorities, define milestones, develop new and innovative processes (or implement new technologies) and drive deliverables. * Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, escalating as appropriate. * Work closely with our programs managers, continuous improvement leaders, and operating managers to develop new data and analytics capabilities supporting a world class organization. * Build a world-class LEAN / Six Sigma continuous improvement culture at our facilities in close alignment with our E-Commerce leadership team. * Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions * Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence. ABOUT YOU (requirements): * 3-7 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution/fulfillment center or operations environment. * 3-7 years of data & analytics project experience. * Project leadership utilizing LEAN / Six Sigma tools and techniques. * Innovation developing new databases and processes (Oracle or large databases a plus) * Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instruction; ability to speak, read and write in English (Spanish preferred.) * Computerized operational systems such as a Warehouse Management (WM) Systems, TMS, MRP and Production/Labor Planning systems. * Ability to communicate effectively-verbally and in writing-with customers, associates, and managers.
