The eComm Facilities Warehouse Manager will manage the day-to-day functionality of a specific area/department within the fulfillment operation. This individual will ensure timely completion of the workload in an efficient and safe manner, in compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines, while demonstrating a commitment to teamwork, associate growth and development, and continuous improvement processes and performance. This role will assist the Operations Manager in calculating the labor and supply needs to meet the demands of the current and future business needs.
This opening is currently slated for 1st shift and workdays are Sunday through Wednesday but must be available to work extended hours and various shifts during out Peak period to include certain holidays.
ABOUT US (responsibilities)
Conducts or facilitates required and recommended monthly safety training sessions
Ensures janitorial staff completes all assigned tasks and required paperwork completed for each area
Analyze workload and adjust staff accordingly to accomplish departmental/building goals
Ensure associate safety through education and training, promoting safety awareness and accountability, and by promptly addressing potential hazards
Reviews all equipment used and the workspace in their department to make sure it's being kept in clean neat proper working order
Observes that all PPE and other safety equipment are used properly and is in good working order
Sets the agenda for daily huddles and weekly meetings, communicates goals, objectives, and company directives to associates in a clear, concise, understandable manner
Inside average office environment 10% of the time, inside warehouse environment 90% of the time
ABOUT YOU (required skills)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, construction, and facilities/maintenance
Knowledgeable of a direct-to-consumer fulfillment operation
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
