Sentara Healthcare is currently recruiting for an Echocardiographer for the Noninvasive Lab at Sentara OBICI in Suffolk, Virginia!

This position is full time Monday

• Friday 7:00am or 8:00 am

• 4:30pm, with call every 7th week 4:30pm to 7am and weekend call

• 11am to 7am

$20,000 Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance available for qualified candidates!

Echocardiographer will performs two dimensional echocardiograms, 3D, Doppler Ultrasound, Holter Monitor, transesophageal echocardiograms, and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.

Education: Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree

• CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.

Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes

New Graduated Echocardiography will be considered.

Basic Life Support Required

Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.

Job Summary

Performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.

Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines. Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS) within in 12 months of hire.

Qualifications:

ALD

• Associate's Level Degree: Cardiovascular Technology, BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Cardiovascular Technology, HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification

• American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
