Echocardiograph Technologist - Cardiology Institute

The Cardiac Vascular Technologist obtains diagnostic quality echocardiograms and all vascular tests as prescribed by the physician. He/she specializes in echo-cardiology and vascular technology (non-invasive tests). Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Science, specializing in echocardiography or Applicable training and experience in performance of Echocardiograms and vascular procedures.

• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire. Or

• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably cardiology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in comparable position.
