    Loyola Medicine Transport is based at Loyola University Medical Center and is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center , Gottlieb Memorial Hospital , and MacNeal Hospital Loyola Medicine is seeking a full-time Echo Technical Coordinator to join our team at our Maywood Campus. In this role, the Echo Coordinator is responsible for the cardiology ultrasound department (Cardiographics) directing and implementing patient care and daily operations. Works with the Practice Manager as well as physicians and cardiologists.

    In addition, the coordinator plans the workflow and employee schedule within the department. Provides various lead functions within the department while providing support and guidance to staff. Patient care is delivered in an inpatient and outpatient setting.

    An Opportunity awaits you to lead and mentor your peers within a respectful and compassionate environment. What you’ll do: Perform quality, non-invasive cardiac ultrasound studies to facilitate the diagnosing of various diseases following departmental protocols and guidelines.

    Provide patient care and maintain the patient's safety within established organization policies. Communicate with other clinical departments to coordinate patient care activities. Instruct technical students and collaborate with residents.

    Performs other related duties as assigned. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as needed. Participate in maintaining professional growth, self-development objectives & skill enhancement.

    Minimum 1-2 years of previous job-related experience. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) active status with the ARDMS.
