Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a hospital setting? If so, consider joining our team as a PRN Echo Tech (this position will be utilized as needed. Predominantly covering a rotating weekend call rotation) in our Radiology Department at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

• Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation.

• Experience to perform Transthoracic, Transesophageal, and Stress Echo exams

• Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Performs a variety of tasks.

• Works under general supervision.

• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

• Reports to a Director of Imaging services.

Requirements for this Position:

• Associate's degree and graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound / Echocardiography and certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is preferred.

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a Echocardiology.
