Job Description:

This e-business systems consultant (BSC) position provides overall and strategic focus in creative and product management development for Universal Workstation (UW), a workflow/case management system used by various bank offices.

Working both with management and the application's clients, this candidate translates the strategic direction for UW into new products and product enhancements, including the following: system design and content, product development, and usage goals.

This individual coordinates with and provides direction to technology partners, internal customers (UW users), other organizational units, and vendors to support achievement of bank objectives on both a project and ongoing basis.

The BSC consults and advises senior management on the application implications of various policies and activities, and may serve as a mentor or team lead of e-business employees, including participating in the selection and development of staff members.

The candidate will be a primary point of contact between the UW application team and both the user community and technology partners, assisting these groups with everything from understanding current functionality to troubleshooting to vetting proposed enhancements. This individual will also represent the application on various project teams, and will be responsible for translating business requirements/user stories into system designs. Responsibilities may also include administration of other bank processes such as business continuity planning, security plan updates, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: internet based business systems, intranet based business systems, or e-business consulting
  • 5+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 5+ years of client relationship management experience
  • 1+ year of relational database experience
  • 3+ years of Microsoft office suite experience such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • 5+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies

  • 3+ years of reporting experience

  • Experience managing Business Continuity Plan (BCP) documents

  • Advanced computer skills to include Visio, Business Objects, SQL and Crystal Reports

  • Knowledge and understanding of XML (Extensible Markup Language)

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Epiphany or other case management/workflow experience (Pega, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Banking experience or equivalent understanding of banking fundamentals.
  • BSC (or equivalent) experience in an IT organization.

Job Expectations

  • Work schedule may vary between 6 am
  • 6 pm Monday

  • Friday. Schedules will be set as need is determined.

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

The Strategic Execution & Operations (SEO) Office focuses on achieving quality performance across our businesses to enable the company to execute more effectively against our regulatory priorities and further drive our transformation. This Business Communications Consultant 5 will: * Develop, document, implement, and manage an integrated communication plan to identify activities, key communications, strategies, and other deliverables * Write and edit a variety of complex and/or sensitive communications including internal business presentations and executive summaries related to BPM and Operational Design * Consult with content owners and managers to develop communication messaging and plans * Identify communication opportunities, and design and source materials for execution of those opportunities * Meet established deadlines with tight turnaround times * Lead, or participate as communications SME in, cross-functional teams as needed * In consultation with partners, design and implement support process and communication tool improvements, to improve speed, efficiency, and accuracy of stakeholder engagement * Track and measure results to ensure alignment with business objectives * Drive routines and processes on key cross-organization announcements such as Team Member new hires, engagement, and planning efforts for internal team members and partner audiences * Setup, manage, and support group email boxes * Communicate clearly, concisely, professionally, and timely to engage team members/stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving organization * Ensure adherence to required policies and procedures. * Align communications to Wells Fargo's vision, values, behaviors, and culture Locations: Preferred locations are listed, however may consider other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint.
