EBS Analyst Assistant

IT@JH Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) is seeking an EBS Analyst Assistant who will compile and analyze data to help EBS make informed decisions and update functional design specifications, team knowledge base articles, and business logic for changes/modification of ERP platform. Position may additionally assist with developing project plans in Smartsheet, analyzing system configuration and identifying needed data cleansing for new ERP implementation. May also be responsible for distributing/developing reports for several ongoing projects to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and compiling data about JH Business trends.

  • Analyzing data to identify patterns and/or inconsistencies.

  • Supporting the EBS analysis team(s) in developing business plans and strategies.

  • Creating technical/business reports and manuals for team & end-users.

  • Evaluating and testing new system resources and processes (QA).

  • Developing workflow charts or documentation for system changes.

  • Interviewing teams and business partners to capture and document business process flows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of computer systems, applications and interfaces as acquired through courses toward a degree program in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other related field(s).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products: Teams, Forms, Excel.

  • Experience with Smartsheet a plus.

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
