This hourly leadership position will oversee the usual - cashiering, inventory, customer service, team member relations, budgets and store administration - along with the unusual - helping manage the processing and flow of donated goods and assisting individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment learn life skills, get job training, become more independent and build on their dreams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Respects the inherent value and dignity of each person who becomes involved with Eau Claire County Restorative Justice Programs, particularly victims and offenders. Promotes the principles and values of restorative justice in our Eau Claire County communities and will build a sustainable organization worthy of carrying on the long-term work of restorative practices.

  • Coordinates restorative justice services with the victim and offender or family by coordinating with key participants all pre- and post-offender/victim conferencing communication to ensure they are well-informed with the proceedings of their respective cases.

  • Assists in the recruitment, training and maintenance of a pool of community volunteers. Assists in performing a variety of outreach and educational activities within the community, including but not limited to presentations, distribution of newsletters/brochures, media relations and Individual meetings.

  • Provides restorative justice services in the areas of VOC, circles, mentoring, accountability workshops, victim impact work and community-based trainings.

  • Meets program coordinator requests in a timely manner, attend volunteer recruitment opportunities throughout the community and provide ongoing training on an as-needed basis.

  • Trains in areas of special need (AODA, sexual assault, domestic violence, etc.) whenever the need arises.

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, human services or related field is required.

  • Experience in working with youth, social service agencies or other community service providers is required.

  • Experience with nonprofit organizations is preferred.

  • Experience of at least an intermediate to high level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email is required.

  • Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.

  • Primary function requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, lift, carry, push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight.

  • Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a computer keyboard.

  • Travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation.

  • Verbally communicate to exchange information.

Join our Goodwill family as the Eau Claire County Restorative Justice Program Coordinator While receiving leadership support from the Manager of Business and Partnership Development, the Eau Claire County Restorative Justice Program Coordinator leads the development, implementation, expansion and coordination of all programs and services associated with Eau Claire Restorative Justice Program. Ensures that all activities are performed in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, values and brand of Goodwill. Key Responsibilities * Develops, implements and monitors policies and procedures to ensure ongoing adherence to the mission and needs of the program. Maintains a comprehensive system for the effective delivery of restorative justice services, including information and referral, intake, evaluation, case management and consumer satisfaction while maintaining and developing strong partnerships with all referral agencies to ensure efficient referral processes are in place and sufficient flow of cases occurs. * Works cooperatively and collaboratively with the Eau Claire County Restorative Justice Program (ECRJP) team to ensure the delivery of quality services to program participants. Oversees the development and maintenance of database information on all program participants and volunteers while ensuring the maintenance of case files and records of people involved with the restorative justice program and that documentation and recordkeeping practices comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. conditions of a grant award). * Works as an ambassador of the ECRJP and Goodwill in the community by being responsible for performing a variety of outreach and educational activities within the community, including presentations, distribution of newsletters/brochures, media relations, individual meetings, etc. and will become involved in community outreach and community groups within the community. * Develops and submits annual budget request to Eau Claire County Administrator and attends subsequent budget hearings/meetings for annual allocation of county monies to ECRJP. * Accepts and processes referrals for service from referral sources through intake, screening, placement and case management through duration of service provision. * Ensures program development and implementation meets the community restorative justice needs by ensuring compliance to contractual obligations and responding to new and emerging programming needs brought forth by community partners. * Serves on community boards and committees representing Restorative Justice and victims through the criminal and juvenile justice systems. * Provides restorative justice services to victims and offenders of crime and harm including but not limited to Victim Offender Conferencing, Circles, Educational groups and one on one's. * Staffs and provides support, creative problem solving and approaches to Program Facilitator for ongoing case management and service provision.
