The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for traveling within the United States and Canada visiting Jobber/Dealer accounts and attending trade shows. Primary responsibilities include ownership of Dealer relationships through strong communication and support skills within offering products. The Territory Sales Representative needs to be a self-motivating, energetic professional that enjoys travel. This is a road warrior position requiring up to 75% travel depending on business needs, including some weekends and trade shows.
Execute business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of corporate sales goals and profitability.
Maintain and grow BAK product sales for assigned sales channels and monthly jobber visit quotas.
Track calls, contact information and company assets in our CRM web tool.
Travel regularly via automobile and airplane to visit Jobbers, Warehouse (WD), Trade Shows, and assigned events (some weekends required).
Maintain/and present customer programs, policies and promotional activities.
Attend to customer expectations in order to maintain their satisfaction.
Develop new customer relationships and grow sales; while servicing and cultivating existing accounts.
Execute promotions and new product launches throughout assigned customer territory.
Properly train Jobber Accounts on all products offered.
Ensure displays and other marketing aids are clean, up-to-date, operational, and featured.
Provide monthly reports accurately and timely.
Maintain awareness of market conditions at all times - WD and retail pricing, competitive actions, opportunities and threats, and bring to the attention of sales team.
Maintain a travel calendar, a minimum of 30 days in advance, communicate travel plans and changes.
Perform other related or non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training
