SUMMARY STATEMENT:

As a key member of the MNA leadership team the RVP will plan, lead, supervise, and coordinate all business activity and performance of the regional sales and support team members. Goals include; maximizing the sales and profit potential of all Manitou BF products and services, developing and managing the go to market strategy including dealer network, rental customers, and other channels to market, and driving the overall growth, team member development and customer experience within their region.

Region: ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, PA, WV, MD, DE, VA, NC, SC, AL, GA, FL and Eastern Canada

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and execution of the region's sales strategy to drive growth in share and sales of the full Manitou product and service offering.

  • Direct the sales and support activities of all regional team members. Set performance objectives and hold team accountable for achieving goals. Coordinate satisfying market needs with broader global Manitou team.

  • Promote Manitou Group brands through first hand interaction with customers and dealers. Gather market intelligence and VOC to provide feedback and direction on products, programs and processes.

  • Recruit, develop, coach, & mentor regional team members as part of building a strong, high performing team while working within a matrix structure

  • Create and maintain accurate region and dealer level sales forecasts provide input for production planning and product development. Manage field inventory to maximize opportunity and returns.

  • Manage the financial performance of the region; prepare budgets, plan marketing and promotion actions, manage pricing and maximizing return on expenditures.

  • Act as market expert providing direction on products programs and activities that will drive brand awareness and sales growth.

  • Dealer and channel development: Work with regional team to drive dealer performance in all aspects of the business relationship. Create dealer coverage map and work to blanket the market with a strong distribution network. Drive new product and program initiatives across the network setting high standards and compliance with commitments. Develop and implement an ongoing dealer business planning process and work to insure success in each market.

  • Establish rental and key accounts targets and goals. Support key account locations and sales managers. Maintain strong connections to key influencers. Coordinate the interactions of regional sales team members to insure growth and penetration of our full product offering.

  • Communicate company policies and procedures to team and market partners to insure compliance to the Dealer Agreement(s) and Terms Schedule(s). Provide feedback on potential program improvements to drive competitive advantage.

  • Implement new product introductions, host dealer/customer product information meetings, select trade shows, special events and other actions to promote Manitou Group products and services.

  • Mitigate company risk and exposure by working closely with credit and collateral management, S&S teams and other stakeholders to insure speedy and equitable resolution to issues. Coordinate the implementation of corrective actions as required.

  • Complete special projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or related area required. MBA or advance study a plus

  • Minimum of 7 years proven leadership and sales management experience required with strong preference toward multi state/province responsibility.

  • Prior experience in distribution of a manufactured capital product and managing a dealer network strongly desired.

  • Demonstrated record of achievement and ongoing growth in responsibility.

  • Proven strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

  • Work from home office within region. 65% + overnight travel expected.

This position will be responsible for building and developing the region and requires a true Rainmaker. The Vice President, Solution Sales will represent Lumeris' comprehensive solution that includes process, methodology, services, consulting and technology by calling on "C" suite leaders. This is a consultative and solution-based executive sale that requires the ability to analyze customer needs, develop complex solutions and gain buy in throughout large and heavily matrixed organizations. This position represents a unique opportunity to change how healthcare is being delivered in the United States. Job Description: Role and Responsibilities * Responsibility for their region including ensuring that sales goals are met through closing large deals with new clients. * Ability to manage large, complex, multi-year deals that are often resemble a merger or acquisition deal rather than a traditional sales deal. * Support the region and executive team with research, prospecting, planning, and qualifying deals. * Ability to have dialogue with executives to understand business priorities, and in a consultative manner, relate Lumeris solutions to client needs. * Proactively call on healthcare decision-makers to develop and foster relationships with large integration delivery networks (IDNs), hospital systems, payer organizations, and physician practice groups and proactively managing these relationships. * Proactively build your region by building and maintaining relationships with key influencers in the region whether that be consultants, politicians or anyone else that influences the C-Suite of our clients. * Proactively execute strategic sales business plan for market that will be used to achieve/exceed sales goal; revise plans and strategies as dictated by market changes, sales results and other factors. * Maintain relationships in your region with clients to expand Lumeris offerings and relationships. * Sustain a comprehensive understanding of Lumeris solutions, including the process, methodology technology and services we provide and display a deep understanding as to how they impact a payer or provider. * Participate n relevant industry conferences and associations.Execute targeted campaigns around specific functionalities, services, and/or product enhancements. * Maintain comprehensive understanding of healthcare marketplace applicable to Lumeris market. * Travel to prospects and clients to meet key contacts and present solutions, facilitate meetings to manage and grow the sales pipeline. Experience, Qualifications, and Education * Bachelor's Degree, Masters Preferred * 15 years developing solutions or selling consulting, solutions or enterprise applications to hospital systems, payers and other entities in the healthcare industry. * Minimum 7+ years prior experience working with accountable care organizations (ACO's), hospital systems, payers and other entities in the healthcare industry. * Extensive background in solution based selling within a payer or provider. * Deep Knowledge of population health and value based contracting. * Strong healthcare system acumen (delivery, reimbursement and managed care). * Excellent understanding of the Affordable Care Act and the impact it has on payers and providers is required. * Experience with multi-level and lengthy sales cycles (6-12 months). * Proven track record in executing sales plans.
