About the Team

Workday is the leader in enterprise-class, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for managing global businesses. As an Engagement Manager in our Medium Enterprise practice, you will be the key player on a team that guides customers through the deployment lifecycle, solution delivery, and issue management by partnering with our functional consultants. You will be the Workday leader responsible for managing the Customer experience through deployments. You will be tasked with managing a portfolio of project engagements.

About the Role

The Sr. Engagement Manager will be an expert with the Workday Deployment Methodology. They will manage mid to large deployments and resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. They will also support executive level expectations by providing internal suggestions to management, based on field experience, as to how to potentially enhance the Workday Deployment Methodology.

• Guide our Customers in the implementation of Workday deployments following multiple approaches of the Workday Methodology .

• Manage the execution of multiple projects concurrently.

• Show strength in the Workday product suite - Financials and/or HCM.

• At times, participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, and develop a proposal/SOW.

• Present client with change orders in the event they're asking Workday to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW.

• Provide guidance and mentoring to those Professional Service resources working on their implementations.

• Ensure projects are accurately planned and staffed.

• Work with the Customer Project Manager to resolve issues and ensure compliance with agreed deliverables.

• Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.

• Be a liaison for Professional Services when interacting with sales and/or development.

• Ensure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW

About You

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience (5+ years) of project managing Medium and/or Large Enterprise software applications, preferably ERP systems.

• Prior consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company.

• Other Qualifications:

• Previous experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, etc).

• Experience in software development

• Experience managing 3rd parties on a project

• Ability to travel up to 30%

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.VA.McLean (Tyson's Corner)

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $118,900 USD - $178,400 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $107,600 USD - $189,500 USD
