The position works out of a satellite office in the Quarry.
Adherence to all safety and housekeeping rules related to the East Gate office and surrounding area. Vigilance in monitoring the work area for hazards.
Performance of general office duties (office equipment, data input, filing, etc.).
Accuracy in keeping necessary records such as customer information for billing via road rock hand tickets, P.C. hand tickets, etc.
Proficiency following training to use the "Loadrite" system. Handles downloading modules, entering of data into the location tracker, and the entering of crusher production into the appropriate Excel spreadsheets.
Develop competency with knowing the various products offered for sale in the Road Rock Office such as the rock sizes, types of materials, and tonnage prices for each.
Ensuring the proper flow of truck and mobile equipment traffic in and out of the East Gate.
There are two pay levels for this position Operator 1&2. Advancement opportunity is capped at the Operator 2 Level.
High school diploma, or equivalent, is required.
Prior clerical/office experience is preferred.
Proficient typing skills (approximately 30 words per minute preferred).
Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and Word).
Strong grasp of basic mathematics including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
Ability to effectively communicate with others through written and verbal means.
Ability to use various modes of communication with others, including but not limited to face-to-face, telephones, two-way radio, CB, and e-mail.
Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume office while always maintaining a professional demeanor with both internal and external customers.
Ability to follow instructions with minimal direct supervision.
Willingness to consistently work six days per week (Monday-Saturday) beginning at 6:00 a.m.
