The salary for this position starts at $15.00 hourly. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.

Under the direction of the Child Care Program Director and/or Assistant Program Director. The Child Care Teacher's Aide provides support to the Child Care Teacher and Assistant Teacher in implementing child care center programs. The incumbent assists with carrying out the child care mission and values by providing high quality child care services to children and parents that focus on the YMCA core values: Equity, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring.
The incumbent interacts regularly with children, parents, and staff members. The incumbent assists with the supervision of the children. The position involves interaction with parents, children, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
