Plans, supervises and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum that creates an environment to promote the developmental needs, health, and safety of the children enrolled. Interacts directly with the children and maintains strong communication with the parents/guardian.



High School Diploma is required.

Associate's degree in child development or related field is preferred.


1 year teaching experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Fingerprint Background Check prior to first day is required.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months is required.

Registry Certificate applied for after 3-month review is required.

Shaken Baby Prevention Training Certificate or Abusive Head Trauma Training Certificate required by end of 1st day in department is required.

While our products are virtually invisible, they play a vital role in ensuring the quality of modern life and we are committed to connecting what matters to solve some of the world's biggest adhesion challenges.</p><p>The Technical Specialist is an adhesive application expert with a high level of knowledge and expertise in company products and the application equipment used for these products within the appropriate markets for the geography/business unit in which they work.</p><p>This role will be focused on customers in the Tissue &amp; Towel market at H.B. Fuller, with some cross-over into other Rigid Packaging markets (i.e. Graphic Arts, Multi-wall Bags, End-of-Line Packaging and Labeling). To be successful, the Technical Specialist must be able to quantify the value of H.B. Fuller products and be capable of advising business leaders and customers on products, applications and equipment.</p><p>Location:</p><p>Virtual, within the United States. Territory will include North America, with a key focus on U.S. customers. This role consists of up to 50-70% travel.</p><p>Role Description:</p><p>The Technical Specialist is capable of solving most problems with customer applications within their primary focus and will be involved in a variety of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>Being the market expert on everything that can affect the performance of our products, up to and including substrates, manufacturing processes, application methods, equipment, proper use of the adhesive, impact of plant conditions and the end use of the customer product.</p></li><li><p>Collaborating with the Commercial teams to support key accounts and opportunities aligned with the business objectives through training and onsite or remote product demonstrations, troubleshooting and ongoing support.</p></li><li><p>Supporting innovation by identifying opportunities and new trends in the market, communicating them into the organization and helping to launch new products and technologies that align.</p></li><li><p>Supporting the launch of new products by working closely with Marketing, Commercial and R&amp;D, identify new market trends, gathering feedback from peers in the industry, working on new product development projects and improving the technical capabilities of the sales force.</p></li><li><p>Building relationships with customers and having the ability to influence and gain alignment.</p></li><li><p>Applying application and equipment expertise to solve unmet customer needs, troubleshooting application process problems, supporting claim investigations, demonstrating the efficacy of existing products and making recommendations to customers for products and/or process improvements based on data driven conclusions.</p></li><li><p>Training and educating customers in H.B. Fuller's products and services, such as product specifications, product application and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Where applicable, conducting adhesive audits and/or product demonstrations at customer locations.</p></li><li><p>Staying up to date with industry trends by attending conventions, trade shows, visiting key equipment manufactures and machinery partners, institutes, and substrate suppliers.</p></li><li><p>Analyzing and interpreting data to prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations that explain products and services both internally to Marketing, Commercial and R&amp;D, and externally to customers and potential customers.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrating product value to Commercial team and leadership by communicating how the products work, how they compare to the competition, quantifying product value and providing training on to run audits and demonstrations.</p></li><li><p>Participating in regular R&amp;D, Commercial and Marketing meetings, proactively sharing best practices both in the field and laboratory and helping with success story reporting into the organization.</p></li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related area of study (obtaining a bachelor's degree before start date for new graduates).</p></li><li><p>Strong preference for experience in the Tissue &amp; Towel manufacturing industry</p></li><li><p>Candidate must have high self-confidence, curiosity, ambition, and willingness to learn and build relationships with customers.</p></li><li><p>Capable of becoming an expert on customer applications and machinery.</p></li><li><p>Effective project management skills, highly organized and capable of balancing several priorities simultaneously</p></li><li><p>Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel), and have strong presentation and report writing skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills - fluency in English required.</p></li><li><p>Must have valid driving license and be willing to travel, including internationally (i.e. Canada/Mexico), up to 50-70% of work time.</p></li><li><p>Strong team player, flexible, open-minded and tenacious</p></li></ul><p>At H.B.
