Under the supervision of the Special Education Director, the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher provides appropriate services to preschool aged children (3- 5 years of age) suspected of having a disability, referred or eligible for special education services. The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher works effectively and collaboratively with families, regular and special education team members, and outside agency providers.

Requirements / Qualifications

1 year of successful experience in a pre-school setting with required valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential authorizing the following: Mild/Moderate with Early Childhood Education classification, or Extensive Support Needs with Early Childhood Special Education classification.
