The Ashtabula County Educational Service Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to serve in Ashtabula County School Districts,specifically at Rock Creek Elementary School.

Reports To: Special Education Supervisor, Principal

Compensation: As per the ACESC Salary Schedule

Contract Length: 184 Days

Required Qualifications:

• Teaching certification as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist P-3 or Early Education of the Handicapped

• Successful BCII/FBI background checks

• Ability to develop and implement Individual Education Plans

• Ability to develop and implement Behavior Support Plans

• Proficient technology skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in teaching students with multiple disabilities

• Project and inquiry-based instruction and pedagogy

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, talk, hear, push, lift, bend and twist at the neck more than the average person. Employee may need to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch and reach above the head.
