Minimum Qualifications: Education: Degree in Education desired, but not required.

Must meet the eligibility requirements of the Missouri Accreditation Center. Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of developmental characteristics of children 3 to 5 years of age. Organizational and management skills are needed.

Appropriate and effective discipline techniques and practices for children 3 to 5 years old. Must be able to plan - and initiate activities for children.

Oral and written communication skills. Planning and organizational skills.

Observation skills. Professionalism.

Abilities

• Flexible, nurturing and caring attitude; ability to solve problems; sound judgment; ability to establish and maintain relationships with adults and children. Experience: Previous experience working with children 3 to 5 years of age very helpful.

Hours: 3:00pm

• 5:30pm

Salary: PG 14 <60 $15.78 Hourly or PG 16 >60 $17.04 Hourly
