Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA has an immediate, exciting early career Program Planning opportunity supporting the LRSO (Long Range Standoff) program, as well as other programs within our SMD line of business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to interface with all areas of the business including Program Management, Finance, Supply Chain and Engineering and will help support the following areas of program planning:

  1. Support and development of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) related to the System Test portion of the LRSO program
  2. Maintain integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Schedule
  3. Perform critical path and schedule risk analyses as required
  4. Provide planning support to CAMs as part of monthly F&BO earned value rhythms
  5. Perform schedule integrity checks as required and deliver metrics
  6. Present schedule information to internal and external customers
  7. Ensure compliance with Lockheed Martin Corporate Program Performance Management and program planning policies and practices
  8. Support DCMA surveillance reviews as required

To be successful, you must be a self-starter; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; and must have a proven ability to work with engineers and CAMs to assist them in understanding and interpreting schedule, critical path and earned value data.

Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Some travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project scheduling tool

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships

  • Ability to perform typical schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis

  • Experience working with resource loaded schedules

  • Must be a United States citizen

  • Must have an active Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years

  • Must be able to travel (up to one 2-3 day trip per month)

Desired Skills:

  • Earned value management experience

  • Knowledge working in Microsoft Project Server environment

  • Familiarity with SSC Operations and SMD LOB

  • Knowledge of PPM-IP requirements document

  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments
