The Hexcel Early Career Program is a highly coveted three-year rotational program that will partner you with exceptional professionals in the industry as you engage in complex and critical projects. The program seeks out and recruits motivated college graduates who demonstrate leadership ability and academic excellence. During this three-year program, participants will have diverse assignments lasting 12 months each. Candidates may be required to relocate up to three times during their tenure in the program including a cross-functional assignment.

The Early Career Program will help participants gain the necessary skills and knowledge through comprehensive and holistic learning experiences. Program graduates will have the technical, business, and leadership foundation to proactively and continuously make innovative contributions to the future of Hexcel in positions best suited to match their individual career goals.

Hexcel is currently seeking Early Career Engineers for our Pottsville, PA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Develop Pottsville processes for converting metallic and non-metallic honeycomb materials into engineered core structures

  • Lead continuous improvement projects in the areas of safety, defect elimination, material yield and/or production efficiency

  • Support daily production operations activities


  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a technical field. Preferred Engineering Degrees: Chemical, Mechanical and Material Science

  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

  • Candidates must have less than 3 years of work experience (excluding intern & co-op experience)

  • Must be willing and able to relocate, travel domestically and internationally

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
