Overview & Purpose

Target Starting Salary: $68,848 - $93,184 per year. This range does not represent the full pay range for employees in this position. Reporting location is in North Phoenix (85024).

Official CAP Job Title: IT Functional Systems & Applications Administrator.

The Maintenance Control Division designs, plans and schedules Central Arizona Project's (CAP's) overall asset management program. The team provides maintenance planning and scheduling, reliability and maintenance engineering, and maintenance information services for overall life cycle management of CAP's assets.

Central Arizona Project (CAP), a 336-mile system that brings Colorado River water to central and southern Arizona, delivers the state's single largest renewable water supply and serves 80% of the state's population.

The EAM & MS Project Applications Administrator works primarily to align the application technologies with the business unit processes. This position is responsible for administration and end-user support of the Infor EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) system.

This includes configuration, report troubleshooting and report development (using any of Cognos, SSRS or SQL). Works as a liaison between CAP business divisions and IT, and between CAP and application vendors. Develops, maintains and executes testing plans and is the lead tester during application upgrades and configuration changes. Occasional travel to locations along the CAP aqueduct will be required.

Candidates are expected to have experience in configuration, testing, administration and report development for an Enterprise Application. Specific experience with Infor EAM (or related EAM/CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) application such as Maximo, Microsoft Project Server, Assetworks or Oracle EAM) is preferred but not required.


The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field plus five (5) years of related work experience; OR a high school diploma/GED plus ten (10) years of related work experience. Demonstrated customer service skills is a must.

The requirements listed below are the representative knowledge, skill and/or ability required. * Accountable for the control of new and revised documents and correspondence within the Electronic Document Management System in ensuring all current approved documents are available and maintained and are accurate in description. * Monitor and maintain a record of the status of all requests for changes and new documents. * Provide support to managers and relevant area leads to ensure all documents are formatted, prepared and approved in accordance with procedures. * Prepares monthly reports in a timely, accurate manner including but not limited to client required reports, overtime, payroll and Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) reports. * Supports Project Manager in maintaining tactical operation and quality control of MMIS. * Ensures proper assignment and routing of work orders to Project staff. * Ensures work orders adhere to data entry standards, following up where necessary. * Tracks backlog work orders and works with Project Manager to bring current. * Tracks all preventative maintenance records to ensure they are issued on time. * Maintain confidential employee files and other project filing including training and license records and vendor insurance certifications. * Responsible for purchasing supplies, maintaining equipment, rental and vendor contracts. * Responsible for keying payroll hours and work activities for project employees in a timely and accurate manner. * Responsible for the administration of the projects accounts payable to include reconciliation, verification, and distribution. * Assist in the administration of fleet management system including data entry and invoice review. * Responsible for the efficient administration of the project by answering telephone calls, greeting visitors and distributing mail.
