MAG Aerospace is seeking an E-2 C/D Flight Test Naval Flight Officer (NFO). Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to the VX-20 Integrated Test Team

  • Planning, execute, debrief and report on flight test events

  • Execute missions at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

  • Expected to travel in support of test events at various locations across the US

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical Field and a minimum of eight years of working experience to include one years of RDT&E experience is required

  • Must have at least 1000 hours of flight experience in DoD aircraft of which 500 hours must be in an E-2 C/D

Preferred but NOT Required Education and Experience

  • It is highly desired that the candidate has completed formal Test Pilot school training

VIEW JOBS 3/27/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-25T00:00 Job Description Description SAIC anticipates hiring several Airworthiness Flight Operation Analyst, Senior to work in support of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Airworthiness Program Office (AIR 4.0P) in Lexington Park, MD. Flight clearances are technical documents explaining how to use new or altered weapons and aircraft configurations. They require extensive engineering analysis and technical / compliance reviews. The Airworthiness Product Developer plays a critical role in this process by: * Coordinating and executing the management and development of Interim Flight Clearances (IFC) and Permanent Flight Clearances (PFC) in the form of NATOPS or NATIP. Developing required content and facilitating the Flight Clearance's progression through engineering review for airworthiness approval. * Serving as the main point of contact for information regarding specific clearances for assigned platforms. * Creating and presenting formal briefs in support of new or changing fleet capabilities and develop IFC/PFC content from program technical source track and ensure the transition of IFC content into the appropriate PFC. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and four (4) years DoD Aviation Operator or Maintenance Management experience is required. * Six (6) years DoD Aviation experience and an Associate's degree may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. * Ten (10) years DoD Aviation experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. * The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to meet this obligation.
