Job Description:

Manages the design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Monitors the design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Manages the adaption of machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Oversees the inspection of performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Manages the development of manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to manufacturing engineers regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.)

  • Must be able to interface with executive leadership, customers, and various functional organizations

  • Proven leadership to drive change through affordability initiatives, driving successful change by engaging stakeholders and building alignment

  • Proven ability to motivate and engage workforce at all levels

  • Project Management experience
