Job summary:

As the E-Commerce Manager at the Star Tribune, you will spearhead the management and growth of our online retail platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders to oversee sales, sourcing, and order fulfillment processes. Leveraging your expertise in e-commerce, analytics, and strategic planning, you will drive initiatives to enhance business performance. You will take ownership of the Shop's profit and loss statements, manage budgets, and forecast future trends. Your role will also involve coordinating promotions, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Ideal candidates will bring a proven track record in e-commerce management, possess strong analytical skills, and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You will:

• Manage Shop Star Tribune, working with relevant stakeholders to sell, source and fulfill orders.

• Leverage performance data and industry best practices to make strategic recommendations to grow the business line.

• Own the Shop P&L, budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Plan promotions and collaborate across the organization to ensure relevant inventory is stocked and sold.

• Maintain the business relationship with all Shop-related vendors, including the platform, fulfillment and product vendors.

• Responsible for product selection and inventory.

• Coordinate and manage any in-person selling events such as State Fair or Star Tribune-sponsored events.

• Manage PT fulfillment coordinator.

You have:

• 3+ years managing ecommerce business lines, including platform management, marketing & strategy.

• Track record of growing ecommerce sales and optimizing shop offerings.

• Strong analytics and communication skills, with the ability to work across various teams.

• Strategic product owner that can independently grow an ecommerce business line in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous work with Shopify a plus.
