The e-Billing Supervisor will be responsible for the direct management of the e-Billing staff and will commit to working with a wider Finance team to provide an exceptional client service. The e-Billing Manager will have excellent communication and managerial skills and will be able to interact confidently with clients, attorneys and administrative staff.
On any given day, you will:
Supervise the e-Billing staff of four e-Billing Analysts - monitor and equalize workflow and prioritize high volume of attorney and administrative related requests. Ensure high quality work product, prepare and communicate annual reviews, and set goals and priorities for the team on a short and medium term basis.
Review e-Billing reporting regularly and make sure maximum amount of e-Billing is being processed each month. Monitor progress on the status of reduced and rejected invoices, investigate variances and communicate associated issues to management.
Assign work as necessary to other e-Billing analysts and act as elevated support person on more complex e-Billing issues. Process e-Billing as needed.
Develop strong and collaborative relationships with Finance Management. Liaise with the Manager of Accounts Receivable and Collections and Financial Systems Manager specifically to develop helpful and efficient reporting and to resolve any issues that arise in relation to the processing of client payments.
Develop process and procedure and present 'best practice' and cross training sessions for the team.
Take ownership for escalated e-Billing related issues from attorneys, assistants and the Billing team.
Strong leadership skills are essential. Candidate will need to promote an atmosphere that is supportive and encourages teamwork.
Professional Business Services background required, experience working at a Law Firm strongly preferred. Elite Enterprise and/or Aderant and e-Billing Hub experience strongly preferred.
Must be willing and able to get right into the detail in dealing with e-Billing issues - will need to be able to understand the detailed technical background of the E-Billing software and communicate complex issues to attorneys and managers.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
