Stoneridge Software is a looking for highly motivated, honest and passionate person who wants to help our prospects/customers to visualize solutions and craft an approach to their business needs. We are looking for a Pre-Sales Architect who will take a lead role in working with our customers to address their business needs and provide them the resources they need to be successful. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and experience with ERP products so they can make the right recommendations for customers at the right time.

Job Purpose:

The Pre-Sales Architect serves as the key point of contact for our customers for technical questions, product demonstrations and design considerations. They will engage with clients to ensure successful business/solution road mapping, increase business continuity and profitability and drive client satisfaction through on-going assessments of how to best solve business pain points.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage demo environments to facilitate the development of customized customer demos

  • Understand the customer's business requirements and determine the best approach to meet those objectives with the products we offer

  • Identify opportunities to position and sell Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products and services when requested

  • Develop project demonstrations and work closely with the sales team and customer to solidify solution vision

  • Develop expertise in and position the Stoneridge Software implementation methodology

  • Attend sales and marketing meetings and keep CRM and related customer and project records up to date

  • Identify services, support and hosting sales opportunities and work with the customer and internal team to develop statements of work and close the business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with preference for MIS, Accounting, Finance concentration

  • 5+ years of ERP implementation experience

  • Experience as a project manager on Dynamics ERP implementations

  • Experience in an ERP consulting role preferred, some direct customer facing role required

  • PMP, CAPM and CPA preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step methodology, certification preferred, required after joining

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Ability to multi-task in answering phone calls, emails, setting up and coordinating calls, in-person meetings and project hand-offs

  • Ability to work together as a team in the best interests of the customer

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English

  • Ability to travel to customer sites when requested

  • Ability to work collaboratively for the best interest of the business and the team

Position Type: Full-time

Travel Required: Approximately 25% depending on customer location
