JOB SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a Technical Systems Analyst/Developer to join our Information Technology team. Reporting to the Director of IT, this position will be responsible for supporting technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics AX environment (including but not limited to order management, fulfillment, procurement, financials, and production processes), as well as performing AX technical tasks of implementing AX enhancements and integrations with third party systems.

This position involves AX production support, implementing changes to resolve issues, installing and configuring base components of AX (user groups, security, connections to databases), performance tuning, elevating functionality, documenting support tickets, and managing communications related to issues as per service levels. Additional duties will include creating improvements in AX operational health, developing new features in Dynamics AX, maintaining the integrity of the system through development and code migration efforts.

The ideal applicant must be efficient, flexible, and dedicated to servicing business users. You will work closely with all departments and levels of the business, other IT staff, internal and external teams to identify areas that can be fixed and improved to solve business problems. You will debug, troubleshoot and come up with solutions, and only if absolutely necessary, customize the existing applications.

You will have an opportunity to develop reports and conduct analysis, which will lead to fact based solutions for strategic business issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new features in Dynamics AX, implement technical enhancements and bug fixes.
Develop and support interfaces and integrations between AX, related systems and third party software packages.
Install and configure base components of AX including user groups, security, and connections to databases.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting of issues, be first level of support for production issues.
Address possible technical issues during the enhancement design process.
Perform database tuning, code migrations, improvements in AX operational health.
Create and document support tickets and solutions, update users on issue progress as per service levels.
Write test scenarios, plan and implement AX system tests to ensure that functionality is as expected.
Maintain test environments and data refreshes.
Collaborate with other IT staff, outside consulting companies and business end users to identify and implement innovative solutions to business challenges.
Provide excellent customer interface skills throughout the entire process.
Learn and continue to gain business operations knowledge. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
Ability to turn functional requirements into technical designs.
Deep knowledge of both functional and technical sides of Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 preferred).
Ability to develop code and conduct performance tuning on Microsoft Dynamics AX using X++ and SQL.
Understanding of Dynamics AX functionality and ERP process flows (order management, procurement, inventory management, fulfillment, manufacturing, and financials).
Proficiency in object oriented programming and writing SQL stored procedures.
Skilled knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database, preferably with some knowledge of SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
Knowledge of Exchange, .NET, SharePoint Services, overall AX technology stack and development methodology.
Excellent verbal, written, teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency documenting business issues (escalating for help as required).
Strong competency in MS Office Suite, with focus on intermediate to advanced MS Excel.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, experience using Qlikview BI software or similar analytics tool (Tableau, Domo etc.)
Experience with EDI translator software (understanding document structure and interchange compliance) is preferred.
Ability to utilize time, energy, and resources to handle priorities independently to stay on track and achieve goals. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or 5+ years of relevant ERP experience.
Minimum one life cycle implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX with some experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
At least 5 years of hands on development using X++.
Experience in Microsoft database technologies (SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Certification is a plus.
Experience installing and configuring base components of AX, such as user groups, security, connections to databases, etc.
Training experience preferred, testing experience is a must.
Apparel or fashion industry background is a big plus.
Must have ability to identify, solve, and manage problems under time constraints with minimal supervision.
Strong functional, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with a multi-entity/global organization is a plus

We are looking for a Senior Structural Dynamics Engineer to help us achieve our ambitious goal of launching a 3D printed rocket. You will report directly to the Director of Vehicle Engineering. The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives: To support our mission of changing people's conception of the way rockets are built and flown, you will perform detailed structural dynamics analysis at the component, sub-system and system level, using finite element analysis (FEA) and hand calculations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary vehicle engineering team to define optimal structural configurations and iterate on designs. Additionally, you will support ground and flight tests, including defining test plans, pre-test predictions, oversight, data processing and updating/correlating models.
