Performs leadership and management duties associated with the delivery of service and operations related to general aviation by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

  • Provide day to day leadership and direction to deliver consistent, safe, reliable operations and service

  • Lead and direct all service deliveries and provide service recovery when necessary

  • Correspond with customers regarding various issues such as tenant relations and transient sales

  • Lead and conduct shift briefings with subordinate supervisors and employees

  • Ensure base shift scheduling matches customer demand

  • Acts as company liaison in matters related to the airport community

  • Comply with and ensure accountability for Company policies and procedures related to customer service standards, ramp, safety, and security procedures

  • Meet, greet, and assist customers with hotel reservations, ground transportation, catering and other services

  • Ensure a culture that promotes safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, maintenance of SHEBBA, monthly safety meetings, training and documented safety procedures. Formulate procedures for use in event of aircraft accidents, fires or other emergencies

  • Ensure a culture that promotes customer loyalty by creating an environment of increased employee engagement

  • Maintain relationships with vendors

  • Oversight of GSE and facility maintenance operations

  • Conduct accident investigations to determine root causes, including all reporting involved with the incident

  • Administer Computer Based Training program for the base, as well as any on the job training needed

  • Oversee fuel quality control activities at the base

  • Perform leadership functions such as conducting annual reviews, making hiring decisions, and managing performance of direct reports

  • May perform tasks such as time and attendance administration and processing new employees

  • Other duties as requested or assigned

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or five (5) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. General knowledge of business management and accounting. Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft office products.

Regional Operations US0094 Director FBO Operations Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the facility maintenance department. In addition to the responsibilities of building maintenance, this position is also responsible for all safety, security and environmental issues for the facility. This individual must be able to make independent decisions concerning best practices, safety and timeliness of repairs. Ensures friendly and efficient service to our employees, tenants and customers, and adherence to all operating procedures. This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit. Main Responsibilities: * Maintaining Building Maintenance and Systems: Assess condition of all fixed building systems and coordinate replacement or repair as needed. Identify, in a timely maner, potential system failures. Establish contact list for local contractors able to perform emergency repairs. Establish accounts with local vendors for supplies, service and materials. Set up and maintain maintenance and inspection schedules Insure that all required contractors licenses and insurances are current. Identify and implement, utilities cost control methods whenever possible. * Maintaining Safety: Insure that the facilities department abides by all OSHA and Jet Aviation Safety, Security and Environmental policies. Insure subcontractor and vendor OSHA compliance Insure OSHA and FAA Safety compliance by Jet Aviation employees * Maintaining Environmental Compliance: Safe handling, storage and disposal of hazardous wastes Record keeping for all waste transported from facility File all environmental license renewals Insure that Jet Avitiation is in compliance with all air, water, wastewater, fuel, storage, Health Department, EPA and hazardous materials storage and shipping regulations. Moniter equipment in catering area to insure Health Department Compliance. Prepare quarterly Environmental Metrics for EHS. * Maintaining Security: Establish and maintain a key control system Maintain and control card access system Coordinate security with TSA and DOA by attending meetings and establishing relationships with their management team. Insure that all employees and tenants follow security guidelines. * Research new and alternative vendors to acquire best material at competitive prices. * Using APPIPA, insure vendors are paid in a timely manner. * Establish and maintain facilities maintenance budget * Oversees maintenance of all company and maintenance vehicles, to ensure safe operations and compliance with safety policies. * Performs other responsibilities as needed or required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Facilities Manager has responsibilities over the facilities Maintenance staff and also oversees the facilities office cleaning vendor.
