Palace Entertainment is a subsidiary of Parques Reunidos, one of the leading global operators, with more than 60 different assets (theme parks, zoos and marine parks, water parks and other attractions), spread out over various countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia.

Directs the Park Services program to ensure a clean and green environment for guests of the Dutch Wonderland Family Entertainment complex. Responsible for detailed cleaning throughout the park. Provides leadership to all members of the Park Services team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute the labor and janitorial budget.

  • Interview and hire team members to provide appropriate department staffing.

  • Supervise preparation and execution of daily work schedules based on park attendance.

  • Provide daily work assignments and follow-up to lead supervisors and staff.

  • Coordinate vendor services including trash removal and janitorial supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DEP, and other applicable standards and regulations.

  • Provide initial and continuing training to all Park Services team members.

  • Monitor inspection forms for proper documentation of restroom and park cleaning.

  • Proactively monitor park facility appearance and issue work assignments as needed to corrected deficiencies.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure department and park standards and policies are met or exceeded at all times.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma required; college degree is desirable.

Languages: Fluent English

  • MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)

Experience: Must have 3 years' experience in park operations or experience in building and facility maintenance. Must have supervisory experience.

Other: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

External: Interact with a wide variety of vendors, suppliers, guests and other business associates.
