The FCA is the primary liaison between the contractors and the area operations personnel. The FCA is the connection between the Contract Administrator and the contractor.
The Field Contract Administrator is a fulltime position with an expectation of 70-80% of their time spent in the field and is responsible in the following areas:
Ensures compliance with Site Contracting Strategy
Ensures on-site contractor compliance with all regulatory and DuPont safety requirements
Coach contractor and contractor leaders in business EH&S expectations, standards, policies, culture, and norms
Collaborate with contractor safety representatives to solve EH&S issues and concerns.
Participate to the extent necessary in unplanned event investigations and root causes analysis relating.
Understand scopes of work
Participate in job package preparation process
Review and provide input to contractor project safety plans and addendums
Conduct pre-job meetings as needed
Inspection of contractor's equipment
Acceptance of services or work completed
Monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule
Redirect unsafe behaviors observed in the field through coaching and mentoring of contractors.
Capture field observations in e-tool(s) using the company or business processes.
Participate in periodic data reviews and trending; Review contractor audits and provide feedback to CA
Collaborate closely with owners' project team / business EH&S
Audit Contractor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) / Task Risk Analyses (TRAs)
Verify receipt of service
Sign and maintain time sheets, material tickets, documentation for ROS
Maintain daily reports of work
Help CA resolve claims and issues
Monitor and document changes to contract
Audit contractor's safety program and performance
Provide input on post-job evaluation
Participates in monthly global Contract Administration Network & local site contract administration training or meetings

High School diploma with craft or technical expertise, Technical degree (2 year) preferred
Education or equivalent, experience in the aspects of contracting, craft/technical expertise, construction management or engineering
Ability to work in process and field areas that may include physical capabilities such as climbing stairs, ladders, and construction areas
Effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to present information to all levels in the organization, and address external organizations.
