ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Picking pick orders for shipment according to instructions on bill of lading or pick sheet and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped in an accurate method.
Equipment operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently using safety equipment as required. Charge batteries as needed. Equipment specified (Electric Pallet Jack/Walkie Rider, Reach Truck and Sit-Down Forklift)
Checking check or count freight for accuracy and/or damages.
Safety, Sanitation, and Security maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety. Wear all required PPE.
Order Packing pack orders for shipment in a way that reduces the ability for damage to occur in transit.
Overtime may be required.
Miscellaneous Participate in physical inventories and rack construction, perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and re-packing as needed, repair pallets if necessary, clean out trailers if necessary and other duties assigned that may be required by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma/GED or equivalent related experience.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
WRITING & READING SKILLS Ability to read and write legibly.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS - The physical and work environment demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee will be required to manually lift and stack products that ranges from 5 pounds to 50 pounds. Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, or walking for extended periods of time. May be required to operate a forklift, order picker, reach trucks and other types of equipment and attachments. The work element will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. This position is not in a controlled environment.
