The Arts & Sciences Division is seeking collaborative, dynamic, and versatile adjunct (part-time) dual enrollment faculty to teach classes in the following subject areas:
English
Psychology
Social Science
Humanities
High schools we serve include the following:
Daniel High School
Crescent High School
Pendleton High School
Palmetto High School
Wren High School
Liberty High School
Pickens High School
T.L. Hanna High School
Westside High School
Easley High School
Through dual enrollment, we offer students early exposure to college-level coursework, smoother transitions to higher education, potential cost savings for students, and the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. Our dual enrollment courses also enhance critical thinking skills and foster a more academically challenging environment. Teaching dual enrollment classes offers the chance to engage with motivated students, refine instructional techniques, and contribute to the academic success of students transitioning to college.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Dual enrollment faculty are expected to do the following:
Deliver college-level courses to high school students, fostering a challenging yet supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with the high school dual enrollment office and college faculty to ensure a high-quality educational experience.
Provide guidance to students navigating the dual enrollment experience and college expectations.
