Job duties:
The TANF Work Program Coordinator under limited supervision, participates in the planning, analysis and review of policy and procedure related to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Work Program. Provides professional, programmatic, technical assistance and consultation geared to program improvement for state and federal compliance.
Provides direct supervision to Family Success Coach Supervisors and indirect supervision to the statewide Family Success Coaches. Provides technical assistance to Family Success Coach Supervisors by answering questions, providing policy clarifications, and assisting with resolving conflicts. Participants and oversees onboarding whenever necessary for the statewide Family Success Coach positions.
Reviews and monitors case reviews conducted by Family Success Coach Supervisors to ensure accuracy according to policy and to identify training needs based on case errors. Informs the TANF Work Program Manager of any developments or problems amongst the program, supervisors, staff, participants, and/or other entities. Ensures staff establish and maintain positive working relationships and are continuing to work towards goal completion. .
Assists in the development and dissemination of policy, procedural, and other guidance related to the TANF Work Program. Coordinates TANF work program operations with other Department and Division managers, whenever necessary. Assists with meeting planning and facilitates meetings whenever requested or necessary.
Submits monthly reports as requested or needed by the TANF Work Program Manager or Division Director.
Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Agency Requirements:
A High School Diploma and at least three years of experience in Economic Services Programs.
A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for up to two years of relevant program experience.

A valid driver's license is required, have a high tolerance for irate clients, and crowded working conditions. Must be able to travel within the state for the purpose of training and meetings to include overnight travel.
