Rudolph Community and Care (RCC) is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team! The ideal Direct Support Professional candidate is caring and dependable and will provide direct support to individuals with Disabilities, Mental Illness, and High Behaviors to live to their fullest potential.Those currently pursuing a degree in psychology or social services are encouraged to apply.

Overnight Direct Support Professional Schedule:
10pm-8am Wed.-Tue (7 days on 7 days off)
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ability to provide direct care under limited supervision
Follow programming outlined in the Individual Abuse Prevention Plan (IAPP), Self-Monitoring Assessment (SMA), and Coordinated Services and Support Plan and Addendum (CSSP)
Monitor and maintain safety of clients
Interact with individuals receiving our services
Monitor health care needs
Administration of medication
Drive and accompany individual to appointments
Maintain both home and needs of client by cooking, cleaning, etc.
Document detailed narratives and behavioral data daily
Complete Medication Administration Record (MAR)
Model behavior and mentors individual to increase daily living skills
De-escalate maladaptive behavior
Preform RCC trained manual restraints (EUMR) during behavioral incidents
Participate in activities and social experiences within the community with individuals
Qualifications and Skills:
1 year of experience working with individuals who have disabilities preferred
1 year of post-secondary education and/or working towards a degree in Human Services preferred
Basic math skills
Basic domestic skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
Judgment and decision making skills to handle crisis situations and day- to- day events
Ability to write narratives in grammatically correct sentences in English
Communication skills adequate to relay information in English
Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory record
Maintains vehicle insurance
Ability to pass Department of Human Services background check
