Some of what you'll do

  • Administer medications and treatments

  • Carry out physician's order for treatment, including feedings, respiratory therapy, skin and bowel care

  • Assist MD/ARNP with physical exams and nursing care plan development

  • Maintain residential clinical records on health data, medications, observations, and treatments

  • Oversee and provide direction to Attendant Counselor staff

  • Move and transfer patients; escort and transport patients

  • Provide patient education

In this job, you will be our subject matter expert in psychological services providing clinical consultation and monitoring performance standards to ensure quality care. You'll also enjoy the leadership aspect of your job providing clinical oversight to our Psychology Associate staff that support psychological, behavioral and mental health services to intellectually disabled residents with significant challenges and specialized service needs. Some of what you'll do * Serve as the psychological consultant to the Interdisciplinary team. * Develop behavioral support plans * Conduct psychological evaluations and comprehensive functional assessments * Maintain oversight of all behavioral support plans and recommend changes as necessary * Provide diagnostic assessments to clarify treatment needs * Provide consultation and training to professional and direct care staff * Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner * Participate in clinical staff meetings We're looking for professionals who has: * Ability to provide clinical leadership and direction to clinical staff and interdisciplinary team * Experience providing treatment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders * Ability to plan and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies * Knowledge of diagnostic concepts for developmental disabilities and current treatment and intervention modalities * Techniques for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of individual treatment plans Who should apply? Licensed Psychologist, Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an American Psychological Association accredited university psychology department or professional school of psychology with three years of post-doctoral experience.
