In a residential facility for intellectually delayed individuals, you will provide supervision of nursing personnel. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. 

Some of what you'll do

  • Observe, monitor, and evaluate the job performance of nursing personnel

  • Coach, teach, and mentor nursing personnel

  • Participates in the interviewing, selection, and hiring process

  • Writes performance development plans, ensuring each employee's performance evaluations are completed timely

  • Assists in the management of nursing personnel

  • Responsible for monitoring and certifying time and attendance of nursing personnel using facility established tracking methods

  • Support nursing personnel on duty through the provision of guidance using scientific principles, the nursing process, and Lakeland Village/DSHS policies and procedures

  • Initiate collection and analysis of objective and subjective data, provide accurate interpretation/reporting of individual changing health status, and adjust individual nursing care plans according to data analysis

  • Advise and make sure licensed nurses are following infection control practices, and serve as primary nurse contact and liaison to the infection preventionist after hours for infection control matters

  • Other duties as assigned

Who should apply

  • A valid Washington State License to practice as a registered, professional nurse, and two years of professional nursing experience
