Join the Division Disabilities Administration at Lakeland Village as a Custodian 1.

The Custodian will perform a variety of routine custodial, housekeeping, and general maintenance functions to maintain the cleanliness, safety and care of Lakeland Village.

Schedule: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday-Friday  

Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.  

What we're looking for:

  • Ability to keep accurate janitorial records and documentation
  • Knowledge of regulations and safety standards governing the cleaning of public facilities
  • Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies including safety practices relative to the use of cleaning agents
  • Ability to take direction and multitask, including when working independently
  • Familiarity with principles and practices of janitorial maintenance
  • Ability to use power equipment and chemicals
  • Flexibility, as daily workflow may change to fit the needs of the facility
