Economic Services Administration, Community Services Division (CSD) is seeking a high energy Financial Services Specialist 5 to be a part of our hard-working team in the Capital Hill Community Services Office (CSO) in Seattle, Washington.
As a Financial Services Specialist 5, you will supervise, manage workflow and quality assurance for a team of Financial Services Specialists and lead workers within a CSO.
Some of what you'll be doing:
Establish unit workloads and quality standards
Review complaints, and eligibility determinations to ensure that appropriate data gathering and verification techniques were used
Control the overall flow of work processed by the unit
Review a variety of reports to ensure work volume levels and quality are being maintained and that work is processed within established time limits
Hire, train, evaluate staff and set expectations and measure staff performance
Provide feedback to staff, taking corrective or disciplinary action as needed
Analyze agency policy and practices, collaborating with other supervisors/managers to develop, modify, or improve local policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
Ability to apply and manage the daily operations of DSHS CSD programs ensuring all State and Federal rules and procedures are carried out
Ability to monitor daily and weekly performance and make adjustments to operational functions to meet these performance expectations
Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences
