DSHS ESA Support Enforcement Technician

In this role, you will use your knowledge and independent judgment to provide services to our clients. Join us today on our mission to Transform Lives!

Some of what you'll do:

  • Compile, screen, research, and verify information necessary to respond to information requests

  • Refer or direct customers to correct internal and external teams or individuals by following departmental procedures and guidelines

  • Research and perform data entry into DCS computer databases

  • Meet production goals as defined by the work unit

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Work with a diverse clientele, including clients who may be emotionally charged, difficult, hostile, or angry

  • Operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment and software

  • Coordinate services with outside vendors and prepares legal documents for service on employers and clients

  • Accept and process payments, incoming documents, mail and respond to incoming information

  • Process over the counter mail and payments

  • Effectively comprehend and relay statutes, departmental regulations, and programs relating to child support

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service by communicating timely, consistently, and professionally on a daily basis with a diverse internal and external customer base

Who should apply? 

Professionals with two years of college level coursework

OR

Two years of customer service related experience within a program and/or services related to research, investigation, auditing, writing, reporting, administration, law enforcement, community relations, or allied field

Please Note: Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute year for year

Preferred Qualification:

Professionals with keyboard and Windows proficiency.
