DSHS DDA Administrative Assistant 2

Lakeland Village within the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) is looking for a highly motivated, organized, resourceful administrative assistant to join their team in Medical Lake, WA.

This job is a great opportunity to support our mission to Transform Lives.

Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.

Some of what you'll do:

  • Support administrative duties in the administration office

  • Handle and process mail for the facility

  • Assist with the hiring of Direct Care staff

  • Update and maintain employee org chart/roster for facility

  • Assist Administrative Assistant 4

What we're looking for:

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client and employee information.

  • Knowledge of office procedures and practices; research methods and data collection; communication and correspondence practices

  • Ability to proficiently use various computer programs, including, but not limited to Microsoft office, including Outlook, Excel and Word

  • Experience interacting with a variety of customers

  • Ability to identify abuse/neglect and fulfill the requirements of a mandatory reporter

Who we are looking for:

  • Applicants with one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 1

Or

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or closely allied field and two years of responsible office experience at the senior clerical level or higher.

Clerical or office work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Graduate study may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
