Seeking Compassionate Visionaries

Tired of feeling like your efforts do not matter? Frustrated with not being able to try out new ideas and creative solutions? Join our team and make a real impact on real lives while helping to grow a new program! We are seeking someone who wants to put their psychological acumen to good use and change lives for the better while also earning a fair wage and excellent benefits.

Maple Lane Columbia Unit for NGRI is a Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) located 20 minutes south of Olympia, WA, on the outskirts of the town of Centralia. The program provides behavioral health care for up to 30 residents who have been adjudicated as not guilty by reason of insanity and have been court-ordered to inpatient treatment. Columbia's mission is to promote recovery, resilience, and rehabilitation for those residents leading to successful community transition.

We are seeking a Psychologist 4 with strong clinical and leadership skills. This important position will offer many opportunities for clinical practice with complex and diverse cases. You will have an opportunity to help institute a new trauma-informed treatment program that focuses on comprehensive, individualized care using evidence-based treatment. If you are interested in the intersection between law and psychology, this position will also work closely with legal counsel to coordinate residents' journey to reintegrating back into the community.

If you want to lead and collaborate with a dedicated team to make a real difference in the lives of residents on their road to recovery, we invite you to explore this unique opportunity. The Psychologist 4 supervises a handful of psychology associates, recreation therapists, and peer supports.

You will also enjoy an excellent benefits package that rivals any employer in the State of Washington. We are committed to creating a diverse workforce in a modern work environment that includes the potential for telework options.

Location: A 20-minute commute from Olympia, a culture-filled university town that is also the capitol of Washington and within easy driving distance of a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, beaches, fishing, sailing, etc.

Student Loan Repayment: We will apply to become a qualifying facility within the first year of operation for the Washington Health Corps so that licensed providers are eligible to apply for loan repayment. https://wsac.wa.gov/washington-health-corps

Premium Pay Bonus: Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
