In this role, the Senior PC Design Checker will Check moderate to complex printed circuit board layouts and drawings with digital, analog, RF, power circuits and interconnect applications.
Responsibilities of the role:
Check that all electrical and physical specifications meet the specific design requirements for each PCB design.
Participate in design reviews, interface with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and process engineers to ensure proto-type and production quality printed circuit boards are designed in accordance with BAE Systems standards and procedures.
Check related fabrication and assembly drawings, parts lists, incorporated changes to existing design documentation and component library parts.
Review all outputs files required for the manufacture of the board and assembly to ensure they are ready for fab.
Provide feedback to design engineers as needed to ensure functionality and manufacturability of PCB designs.
Suggest options when faced with challenging PCB design situations including resolutions to non-standard problems.
