DRP Lead - Weekend Shift

Location: Morgantown, Pennsylvania

Work 36 hours but get paid for a full 40!

Hours: Friday/Saturday/Sunday 12 hours (6am-6pm)

Earn an additional $2.50/hr!

The Nuts and Bolts:

• Training of operators (new, refresher, cross-train, safety)

• Serve as backup to Warehouse Manager and provide overflow support to other operators and fill in where needed

• Research and resolve inventory/DRP picking discrepancies

• Review shipping schedules and assist with operator assignment

• Timely communication of issues to Warehouse Coordinator and Manager

• Lead team meetings and communicate goals to other operators

• Ensure DRP loads are maximizing truck use. Work with loaders to create best practices

• Assist receivers with unloading, checking, and locating product

• Perform audits on Fab truck and Pennex deliveries to ensure accurate receipts

• Assist with Fab truck receipts and put away. Backup for Fab driver

• Pick DRP shorts and hot items

• Oversee warehouse sanitation and 5S activities

• Ensure cycle counts performed in regular intervals

• Review operator tow motor checklists and report any equipment issues to Warehouse Manager

• Review DRP pick and advise Warehouse Coordinator of truck quantity changes

• Schedule loads to and from outside storage locations

• Any duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager

Required Credentials:

• High school diploma preferred but not required

• Solid Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet)

• Strong leadership skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Familiarity with JDE or other mainframe based systems a plus

• Experience working in a warehousing, shipping or manufacturing area

• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision

• Forklift license, CDL a plus

• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds. The employee may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces). The Material Handler is expected to perform repetitive tasks with the employee's hands, and have the ability to climb ladders and/or work in high places.
