The Coordinator is responsible for integrity and quality of data, and providing clients with appropriate information & recommendations. The individual uses an independent, proactive approach to the Drop Ship business and the setup and maintenance related to vendor and item creation as well as the management of inventory.
The Coordinator uses discretion to assess the viability of a current or potential Drop Ship vendor with respect to management of inventory, ability to support the required mix of carriers and services
The individual ensures that all vendors are delivering the Brand experience according to company policies and procedures
This individual will use discretion and provide advice to QVC management regarding the readiness and ability of vendors to use specific carriers
This individual will work independently in configuring systems that control the available inventory for sale, the ship methods used for packages, and the customer experience in tracking and visibility post-purchase
Specific Job Knowledge
Excellent oral, written and telephone communication skills
Ability to work independently and interface with multiple levels of management internal and external to QVC
Excellent organizational skill with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to make decisions to achieve desired results. Ability to identify and respond to business opportunities and threats quickly.
Excellent analytical ability; ability to leverage analytical work into action oriented reporting and plans of action.
Strong attention to details
Ability to access information using automated systems
Knowledge of QVC software and interfaces.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably within distribution, transportation or customer contact operations
Excellent PC skills with knowledge of database and spreadsheet software
Experience with the configuration or administration of enterprise business systems such as inventory, warehouse management, purchase order, or transportation systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
