Drop-In Overnight Supervisor

WORKDAYS [ X ] Monday [ X ] Tuesday [X ] Wednesday [ X] Thursday [ ] Friday [] Saturday [X] Sunday Sunday-Thursday, 3 pm-11 pm. The Overnight supervisor is on call as needed.

Please note THIS is NOT AN OVERNIGHT SCHEDULE, however, the supervisor will supervise the overnight YC's FUNCTION The Overnight Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of first-rate and consistent client-services to our Drop-In Center by overseeing staff and residents nightly; providing regular staff-supervision, training, and support; coordinating with treatment team, HR, and Facilities; developing and maintaining a monthly staff-schedule; and being available for emergency support at night and on rotational weekends. TOP RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide support to primary Youth Counselors on duty • Provide direct supervision to Drop-in Overnight on-call Youth Counselors • Help maintain consistency in delivery of services and with regards to programmatic policies • Assist in the hiring and training of new Youth Counselors • Monitor and supervise youth in Drop-In Center to provide a safe, clean and secured environment • Maintain a safe, respectful, hospitable and professional atmosphere • Create, distribute, and maintain monthly staffing schedule • Collect, approve, and transmit timesheets to HR • Maintain on-call responsibility during the week and approximately 2 weekends a month, filling and/or covering shifts as needed. • Facilitate groups, activities and trainings as needed • Attend weekly staff meetings, treatment meetings, and supervision EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS [ x ] High School Training/Experience in youth social services required. TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS Computer knowledge and competent writing skills.

PREFERRED QUALITIES Must be highly organized and able to work independently. Experience working with adolescent/young adult population required. Knowledge of psychosocial needs of LGBTQ/homeless population is helpful.

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays. Supervisory experience a plus. Transgender & gender non-conforming people are encouraged to apply.
