We are recruiting Drivers/Caregivers

• Part Time Weekdays 7:30 a.m.

• 3:30 p.m. PRN Days.

This is a great way to make extra money.

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $14 per hour. This is a blended job that requires driving and providing various concierge services to residents. Great opportunity for someone that has driven for ride share service or transporting senior living residents. Must be willing to walk dogs, work with cats and have a valid Alabama Driver's license.

Required skills and qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. Prior elderly experience is preferred. Must be willing to drive residents to various appointments, work with pets, and provide other high end concierge services as needed. Must have a current drivers license. Must have excellent customer services skills. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively. Ability to document care given.

Responsibilities:

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.

• Drives residents to appointments.

• Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.

• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.

• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.

• Answers signal lights promptly.

• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

• Maintains safe and sanitary work stations and equipment.

• Encourages independence, attendance at activities, restorative programs and rehabilitation. 3. Attends in-service training and education session, as assigned. 4. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
