Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.

Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Driver. The Driver is responsible for operating facility vehicles in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner while transporting patients to and from the facility for scheduled treatments and appointments. The Driver is also responsible for assisting with ensuring that the vehicle is properly maintained and ready for safe use by maintaining a high level of cleanliness and by conducting regular inspections and reporting any mechanical discrepancies and/or malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities Includes:

  • Provides transportation for patients to and from the facility.

  • Responsible for the van log ensuring that the address and phone numbers are updated.

  • Communicate and consult with the department director and/or other appropriate staff members regarding patient care issues and information.

  • Report all van maintenance problems to the Director of Plant Operations/Safety Officer.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Experience: One (1) year of transportation services preferred. Priority given to applicants with experience transporting patients.

  • Licensure: Must maintain a valid, class specific Texas driver's license applicable to the transportation of patients.

  • Additional Requirements:
    Must complete and maintain training in CPR and HWC aggression management, crisis intervention and restraint training. Training may be obtained during first week of employment during new hire orientation.

The Catering Delivery Driver position is responsible for the execution of all catering orders that are delivered to the Zoës guest. The Catering Delivery Driver: * Verifies and validates all catering orders prior to departing to ensure order accuracy and completeness of order. * Delivers all catering orders at the proper time and to the proper location. * Ensures that the catering delivery vehicle is fully stocked with supplies. * Demonstrates excellent guest hospitality skills in every interaction with the guest. * Follows all applicable traffic laws when driving the catering delivery vehicle. * Canvasses delivery area for other potential catering sales opportunities. * Consults with management regarding guest issues. * Must become familiar with and adhere to Company cash handling policies and all other company policies and procedures. * Must adhere to strict safety and sanitation standards.
